Children that have a Lebanese father are Lebanese citizenship.

The Lebanese Nationality Law accepts a dual nationality that means in case of having another nationality the Lebanese citizens won’t loose their Lebanese citizenship.

Foreign wives of Lebanese citizens may apply for a Lebanese citizenship and get it. They should apply for it after a year of their marriage, and with an approval from their husbands.

Recently, the Lebanese woman are claiming why they can’t give their children and foreign husbands the Lebanese citizenship and they are asking for it.

There is an  issue in the Lebanese Nationality Law concerning the Emigrants case where emigrants that are having their host country nationality are not allowed to have the Lebanese citizenship, that’s why the Maronite Institution of Emigrants is working for the Lebanese emigrants all over the world if they want to get a Lebanese citizenship they can apply and have it.
